The 29 Ofgem heat network authorisation conditions
Every authorised heat network in Great Britain is subject to these conditions. Which of them apply to you depends on whether you operate the network, supply heat over it, or both, and on whether any of your consumers are domestic.

Section A — General conditions
Section A applies to everyone holding a heat network authorisation, whether they operate the network, supply heat over it, or both.

Section B — Supply and consumer protection
Section B applies to suppliers. The standards of conduct (B1) protect every consumer; most other Section B conditions protect homes and small or micro businesses; B8 to B12 protect homes only. Sections B and C do not apply to industrial or self-supply networks.
